Identity

Hello,

My name is Endy Daniyanto. I am a self learner. I’ve just passed my quarter life checkpoint and I live in the capital of the largest Islamic nation in the world. I have many vocations that constitute the art that is my career. Many of these are self-proclaimed. But they are secondary identities, and I don’t feel I need to state who I am this way. It isn’t the point of my writing.

This is my personal blog. It’s a very personal project of mine. It’s a creative outlet where I write the thoughts and ideas I have. But not all thoughts and ideas. I definitely have too many of those to write about. The main topic that I choose to write in this blog is about life lessons, or life principles, that I’ve learned these past twenty five years. Well, to be honest, I’ve only been studying for the past ten. But it’s been an intense time in my life, and I do believe I have something valuable to share. I hope that you (the reader) can benefit from the stories and experiences, lessons and questions that I share here.

Building character through principles is the maiden name of this blog. And as it implies, I talk about the process of building a solid identity through the study and application of life principles. This is an art in itself, but it is an artform every human being can accomplish. We are born hardwired with these talents. Any person, from any background, of any gender, of any nationality, and of any educational and economical heritage can tap into these reservoirs of natural gifts and create a better living for themselves. Consequently, any person is then welcome in this blog to learn and to share. I even invite you to debate any idea that I have if you disagree.

Don’t be shy. This isn’t the place for that. This is the place where we all reveal our true characters, for all our beauty and our beasts. Me included. In fact, I will be the first to reveal the mistakes that I’ve made, that I am making, and pioneer the way to grow beyond an obsolete version of myself towards that wonderful, handsome, talented, and wealthy man I keep seeing in my mind.

Granted, this is a continuous self-learning, self-growth program and isn’t exempt from mistakes and different opinions.

But I believe the principles will reveal the truth.

To your Grace,

Endy Daniyanto
