Congratulations to Meet You

Hello,

You look familiar. Have we met before? No? It’s your first time here? What a coincidence. It’s mine too. Don’t be afraid. I’m a little frightened myself. I’ve been known to start something and then abandon it midway. That’s why I’m having doubts about this journey that I’m taking. But I think this time I will make it to the end and see what all the excitement is all about. You’re not here by coincidence either, are you? Even if you ended up here unintentionally, there must be a reason why you did. If not, then why are you listening to me right now?

Perhaps it’s time to tell my story. No, not that one. That one is finished. I mean the new story, one that I don’t even know yet myself. I think this will be fun, discovering this story as we go along. I wonder what kind of characters we’ll meet along the way. Maybe we should hurry. They maybe already waiting for us.

This time though, I’m traveling light. Carrying too much weight isn’t healthy, for the body and for the brain. I’m wearing an open mind on my head. It’s the latest fashion. I keep a big heart somewhere safe and easy to reach, just in case. Don’t leave home without it. You never know. And I made sure I also packed a great sense of humor. These things can come in real handy at the right moments. You can never be too prepared right? How about you, what are you bringing? Oh, that sounds like fun. I already can’t wait.

Do you hear that? The horns are calling. Our ship is about to leave. I’ve got our tickets right here. We’ve got to hurry, there’s only a moment left. Don’t worry about not packing enough, just jump on board. You did remember to bring a camera, didn’t you? We need it to treasure all the memories.

Right, it’s sail away now. There is no moment but the present. I know you still have a lot of questions. I do too. But I think we’ll find the answers along the way. Besides, they only show up when they want to show themselves. They’re really busy these guys. They need to stay low. What with everybody searching for them, and all.

What’s that? You need to say goodbye? Don’t worry, it’s not that we’re leaving for good. We’re just taking a trip. To rediscover ourselves. If it is true, then the ones we love will be there when we return. If they aren’t? Well, then it isn’t love and we need not worry.
